We're in Africa!!

Well, our last "longest leg "of the journey was just finished and now we are sitting waiting for the last flight into Kigali. It's just a bit over 1 hour away! The flights were not quite "dull." The second leg over the ocean was delayed one hour due to electrical problems, (fixed in about one hour) with the flight over the ocean delayed some then because of a back up. We had to circle over Boston airspace for the ok to proceed because of air tracking control glitches...All this to have SOMETHING to write on a BLOG, right?! It also makes for a fine tuning of true belief in our Sovereign God!!!
All the team members are doing fine too and we are excited to get to Rwanda .....but our plane is delayed....hence this time to Blog (free internet at the Nairobi Airport.) It's 7:15am and we are to board at 12.We are being entertained with stories from Tamara's travels and the little roaches here in the corner as I write......
The lay over in London was a good time to talk to Emmanuel about things. Mainly RABBITS. Could you please be praying about this. OH! as of Friday, (hummmmmm London time) we had a total of 15 Sponsorships for the summer Bible class widows!!!!
The temperature when we landed said 64 degrees.... with high humidity.
Skype , telephone has been set up and don't you think that is just amazing!!
Thank you for praying about this trip. There is His peace!...even in delays and such!

I thought I might try to paste my prayer letter for May on this blog but I couldn't do that. Next, I think I'll try to paste a picture from last years' trip. We'll see if I can do that......
OK! this is a picture with a story! The lady I am talking to with Pastor Clement, the interpreter, was the caretaker of the outside memorial site. Her job was washing the glass windows and stone of the "monumental "grave where hundreds upon hundreds of bones lay.
She remembered me from 2008! We found her life is not easy, still in peril actually! Because she was a "witness to things" (from the past.) There was an attempt on her life last April. I asked her if she was afraid that day.....she stated she trusted God. I gave her a purple scarf. Purple is the Rwandan mourning color.
Paul told the Thessalonians that there would be suffering until Jesus appears........I learned I really don't know anything much about suffering........yet!!
